Wow.. has hurricane Ike caused some damage. I was up until 4 AM saturday and it was a monster. We watched the storm Saturday morning until it died down around 2PM. It caused a mess... 2 trees down in our yard, a small leak, 3 huge trees down in the road and no electricty STILL. THANK GOD it is nice and cool that we can sleep at night without sweating horribly!!! Our generator blew a hole in it Tuesday night and we spent all Wednesday morning trying to find one. I was on the phone with some really great friends and family in Austin and Fort Worth trying to get my hands on one. The closest was found by my brother-in-law in Bryan. So we called and found out specifics and what time they opened. Then we found out that Honda had a few in stock. So we were up EARLY EARLY to get there and Thank God that rumor was true!!! So we got one and hopefully didn't lose all of our refrigerators of stuff. Below are some pics that I have gotten so far. We still have a down tree that is blocking our fence.
